Hydronic Heating Systems

Hydronic underfloor systems heat by circulating warm water through a closed network of pipes laid in the floor, spreading the heat evenly throughout the house. Being a closed system, water is re-used and does not need to be refilled.

Hydronic systems have an even heat distribution that is more comfortable than standard heating methods. These systems also have the benefit of being three times more efficient than standard resistive under floor heating.

Blue Green Engineering can design hydronic systems using conventional boilers, heat pumps or renewable energy as the heat source. Our engineers can design specialised hybrid solutions such as hydronic heating systems integrated with domestic hot water units.
