Energy saving measures can be classified in terms of ease of installation and quick payback as follows:

1. Lighting upgrades: are easy to install and offer a quick payback.
2. Heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) building management (BMS) controls: are more complex than lighting upgrades to install and offer a less fast payback.
3. Large capital works (e.g. chiller, air conditioning duct, boiler replacements etc.) are the most complex to install and offer a less fast payback.

At Blue Green Engineering, we conduct energy audits that provide adequate detail to make informed interventions in a building’s energy systems. Our audit process also includes customer consultation and information sessions, and the audit report itself is a transparent and easy to understand document. Finally, energy verification is used to confirm that energy savings have occurred as outlined in the auditing report.
